The Center for Global Leadership and Team Development
The Center for Global Leadership and Team Development (CLTD) is a vital component
of the MBA experience at UC Irvine. The center is a resource for learning and
enhancing skills in areas critical to professional effectiveness and sponsors
an array of events that bring industry experts and business leaders to campus.
Through a variety of programs, the center offers opportunities beyond the classroom
and workplace to develop managerial skills critical to success. Our programs
include:
- Mentoring Program

- Executive Speaker Series
- Social Responsibility Initiative

The Don Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Don Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CEI) promotes education
and understanding about the development of creative new business and social
ventures. Led by the Graduate School of Management, CEI provides a central resource
for UC Irvine students and the community. Current educational and community
activities supported by CEI include:
- Campus-Wide Business Plan Competition
- Irvine Innovation Initiative (I3)
- Workshops on entrepreneurship
- Research and articles from faculty experts on innovation
- Community Speakers
CEI’s activities are complemented by extensive coursework in entrepreneurship
and the student-driven Entrepreneur Association.
