UC Irvine Students get sunshine and a high-speed wireless Internet connection almost everywhere on campus, including the Anthill pub. UC Irvine is the 14th most "un-wired" US university.

E-Library

The school's electronic library for teaching and learning contains a vast array of online databases that complement the extensive holdings of the UC Irvine Libraries and the University of California.

The e-library contains comprehensive accounting, financial and stock market data, security price data, a vast array of business and general news, international financial data, investment research and industry analysis. The library includes Standard & Poors Compustat, CRSP, Disclosure, Research Bank, Lexis-Nexis and Moody's, among other sources.

ANTPAC

ANTPAC, the Anteaters Public Access Catalog, provides quick and efficient access to the holdings of the UC Irvine Libraries. It includes items on order as well as items received but not yet catalogued. ANTPAC indicates whether a book is available or checked out to another user, with its due date. For periodicals, it lists the latest issue received as well as information about periodicals that have gone to the bindery.

MELVYL(r)

The MELVYL(r) System is the University of California's online catalog providing information on library materials available at all University of California (UC) and other selected libraries. The MELVYL(r) System also provides access to several commercially produced bibliographic databases with references to journal articles and other materials. Internet connections to many more databases produced by other libraries or organizations are also available through the MELVYL(r) System.
