Executive MBA Students

Students in the Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program are literally running on adrenaline. Often working in companies where 10- and 12-hour days are the norm and where doing more with less is standard operating procedure, FEMBAs are masters of time management and prioritization. Anticipate seven to eight hours of weekly classes, and an average of 15 to 20 hours a week outside of class time for the duration of the program. You'll spend some of that with your study group, some in TA review sessions and some in individual study.

Executive MBA (EMBA) and Health Care Executive MBA (HCEMBA) students may be on campus less often, but their schedules are no less packed. The longer, more intensive class periods on campus mean more extensive preparation between classes. An average of 15 to 20 hours a week outside of class time for the duration of the program is the norm for these programs as well. And technology makes it easier than ever for study groups to work together during those periods between class meetings.

FEMBA, EMBA and HCEMBA students have access to nearly all the activities available to our full-time students. The question is whether you'll have the time and the bandwidth to participate.

Major school-wide speakers and activities are scheduled to facilitate your attendance or participation. You are invited to attend company information sessions, club activities, The Center for Global Leadership and Team Development workshops, alumni networking events and other activities as your schedule allows. And we'll schedule events and activities specifically to meet your needs and fit your schedules as well, whether that's an executive speaker series targeted to EMBAs or extended career center hours to give interested FEMBA students access to these services.
