Student Activities

It's true. Our MBA program is rigorous, and you will work hard to achieve your goals while you are here. But there's more to an MBA education than academics. Much more. You will meet people here who will become lifelong friends and colleagues. Through our student association and the many clubs organized by our students, and through other informal gatherings in a variety of settings, you will make connections that will enrich your life and help you succeed now and in the future.

Student Government

So much of an MBA education happens beyond the classroom, through activities that bring students together informally and enable them to put their ideas in motion. The Merage Student Association is the driving force behind many of the activities that keep our students connected outside the classroom. All students belong to this self-governed organization, which provides social, learning and networking opportunities through a busy calendar of social and educational events.

At the core of the Merage Student Association are individual associations and clubs that focus on diverse subject areas ranging from information technology to golf. Each club determines its own activities for the year. However, the main focus of all clubs is to increase students' knowledge of a given subject area. All students are welcome and encouraged to join any of these clubs. To see what's new with the Student Association, please go to our web site.

Clubs & Associations

Interested in strengthening your speaking skills? Starting a business? Improving your golf swing? For these and many other extracurricular activities, we have clubs and associations that will make it easy for you to find students who share your interests.

Clubs and associations provide an essential link to the business community by bringing executives to campus to share their expertise. They also create networking opportunities for students in specific functional areas. Each of the clubs and associations has its own web site. To find out more about the individual activities of each club, please see the links below.
